Composite Image: A composite image is made up of many elements. Each element adds uniqueness to the final portrait that represents you. Keep in mind a composite image is more than copy and paste. It uses blending, opacity and tools to make each element feel it belongs there.
With this project, you learn to use Photoshop, design ideas, basic graphic/image manipulation tools and more Your portrait should highlight things that are unique and special to you. Develop a theme for your work that visually characterizes how you want to be represented.
Place your order for what you plan to complete for your Composite Image project. Your order MUST total up to 45 points including Title & Table of Contents.
Create something sliced. What you choose and how you slice it up is up to you. You need to consider matching shapes, color, textures & contours carefully.
Cereal You. You will choose a cereal box and then add a picture to the outside. You can add a picture of you or another object or a face from the Internet. Be creative and make it blend to the box and look natural. (portrait)
Superhero Mash-up with Disney. Combine any Disney or Pixar character with the superpowers you know he/she deserves. You pick the character and the power. Be creative.
Room Make Over. Choose an empty room then decorate it. You need to add window treatment, furniture, lighting, whatever is needed to complete the room. (landscape)
A Funny Movie Poster Parody. Make a movie poster for a “different” kind of movie. How is it different? That is up to you. Be creative. Be clever!!
Hybrid Animal. Make a new animal by mixing two or three animals together to create your new breed. Then give the name of the new animal. What animals you choose and how you mix them is up to you. Be creative. Be Clever!!
It’s About TIME. Choose a magazine cover then create the photo and titles for the cover. You may find pictures from the Internet and personal photos. Be creative and have fun!! (Portrait)
It’s Punny. Find a pun that you like and create a picture that illustrates the pun. (your choice)
Strange City Poster. Choose a strange city name from the list, find information about the city - where it is located, population, unique facts, etc. about the city/town. Based on the information you find, make a poster to advertise your city.
Mannequins? Take a picture of a mannequin display or find a mannequin display. Take a photograph of a friend to place into the display. Put the person into the display so they look like they really belong.
Vegeman. Find different fruits and vegetables or different shapes to create a face.
Literal Interpretations. Choose a compound words and create an images that depict literal interpretations. What would a fly look like if it were on fire? Firefly. What would the moon look like if it were made of honey? Honeymoon.
Cartoon Yourself. Choose a picture of yourself and make yourself into a cartoon using the Wacom tablets.
An Inanimate Object Brought to Life. Use your photo manipulation skills to bring objects to life, like a tree or fork.
Mash-up! Take any famous piece of art and mash it up with a character from a famous movie. Make sure your viewer can recognize both the art and movie.
Black & White with a Pop of Color.. Make a photo black & white, bring in a pop of color by erasing a portion using Wacom tablets..
