BRAINSTORM * SCRIPT * STORYBOARD
Films are made of scenes, which include more than dialogue, but also many technical elements. When writing for a movie you need to consider the entire scene.  When you watch a movie focus on more than just the plot or dialogue.  Look at how the lighting set the mood? How did a casting choice change the way a character was portrayed? How did the music foreshadow the plot? Most important, how does the camera tell the story?  Now when you begin writing your script  think of how an entire scene contributes to your final video.
Thinking of how you want the final movie to be viewed, you need to brainstorm, write the script and storyboard (draw) out what each shot will look like.

BRAINSTORM
What is Brainstorming?
“A technique used to solve problems and encourage creativity in which members of a group share their ideas about a subject” – Merriam-Webster

Brainstorming is writing down as many possible angles and thoughts and possibilities for your production.   It is about generating as many ideas as possible. Writing down every idea that comes to mind.  This is the time to be creative and think "outside the box"
